Hahaha I though Kenya had hilarious laws, there are places with much worse laws. Indeed #ThirdWorldProblems
We are used to traffic police making up flimsy laws one morning and charging motorists for contravening those very laws the same afternoon. People have been arrested for tinting windows, speeding where there is no signage or even just for changing lanes on a highway. Then there are the regular cops who’ll arrest you for loitering, staring at a building suspiciously…among other hilarious ‘laws’. After a little research, I realized that other countries have laws more ridiculous than ours. Here are just a few:
- In Victoria, it is illegal to change a light bulb unless you’re a licensed electrician.Does one make a public announcement when changing the bulb?
- It is illegal to be drunk in the pub.Really? What do they expect will happen after a few frothy delights?
