Without a doubt, without members, there can’t be a club. Membership development remains key in ensuring that there is not only continuity of the club in terms of numbers but also continuity of club projects through active participation of the entire membership of the club. Going by Rotary’s 2013/14 Theme ‘Engage Rotary Change Lives’, it is by Engaging Members that they find value of their time and resources dedicated to the club and in the process of them being engaged, they are transformed hence the change in their lives.
The club continued employing different strategies for attracting new members as well as keeping the old members involved. The year ends with an active membership of 32 with a participation in club meetings and activities standing at an all time high of 78%. The meetings of the club had a great turn out for the year.
